Marine Ecology

Devon’s coastal waters are among the UK’s most diverse. From the classroom to the beach, we’ll learn where to find shore crabs, cushion stars and much more — then take a peek beneath the waves.

Snorkelling

The perfect intro to the underwater world — explore colourful reefs and kelp forests. With luck we may even meet some curious wildlife.

Rockpooling

Visit our favourite beaches and meet the vibrant seashore community. Keep a personal logbook to record, draw and understand what we find.

Strandline Discovery

Stroll our favourite beaches and discover the treasures of the strandline. Discuss pottery finds, explore the life cycle of a cuttlefish bone, and debate the origin of driftwood — while making a difference with a beach clean.
