Meet the Team
Debs
Debs has had a remarkable journey—from Minister of Tourism in Egypt to founder of Blue Eye FX Productions in 2000.
Today, Blue Eye FX is a globally recognised underwater broadcast and film company, with clients like BBC, ITV, Sky, and Channel 4. The company has won prestigious awards at the Eastern Mediterranean International Underwater Film Festival and Emozioni Nel Blu.
Despite her demanding schedule, Debs chose to share her deep knowledge and passion by taking on Sound Diving Plymouth. Her insight, warmth, and enthusiasm have shaped the core of who we are.
Jon
Jon is the other half of Sound Diving’s leadership. A passionate freediver and spearfisherman, he’s trained alongside some of the world’s top champions. His understanding of the human body under pressure brings a unique edge to his teaching.
In addition to his role as instructor, Jon is a qualified diving technician, skilled in servicing and repairing all types of dive equipment—making him a vital part of our on-site team.
