Your First‑Dive Journey
1) Briefing
We cover the essentials: breathing, equalisation, hand signals, and kit basics.
2) Pool Skills
Get comfortable underwater—mask skills, buoyancy taste, and easy swimming.
3) Open Water Dive
Head out for a guided sea dive in Plymouth if conditions say “go.”

Plan around 2–4 hours for briefing and pool. If sea conditions allow, we add a guided dive the same day or soon after.
Yes—exposure suit, BCD, regulators, weights, and cylinders are provided. Bring swimwear and a towel. We can advise on personal mask/snorkel.
You’ll receive SSI Basic Diver recognition. Enjoy future dives under pro supervision, or credit this experience toward Open Water Diver within 6 months.
Ages 10+ (with a parent/guardian present for under‑18s). We tailor ratios and site choices to suit youngsters.
Plymouth offers sheltered options. If the sea says “not today,” we reschedule the open water part—your safety and enjoyment come first.
You’ll complete a standard medical questionnaire. If it flags anything, you’ll need a diving doctor’s sign‑off before in‑water sessions.
